Founding Principal

Claire Weisz FAIA is a founding principal of WXY, an award-winning practice whose work focuses on innovative approaches to public space, structures, and cities. Her recent and ongoing work includes the redesign of The Drawing Center, The Brooklyn Tech Triangle a study of Brooklyn’s growing tech culture , The East River Blueway Plan,  “Blue Dunes” a HUD Rebuild by Design project and the renovation of Jefferson Market Library. With Andrea Woodner, Claire co-founded The Design Trust for Public Space and teaches at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service and Cornell University. She is chief curator for the Municipal Art Society's Reimagining the Civic Commons initiative, funded by the Knight Foundation.
